The Worthington Model Railway is a British outline layout set in the 1950s – 1960s after the advent of British Railways thru the demise of steam and the ascendance of diesel traction. The layout features a series of typically British dioramas; including a small town and station, an industrial area, a castle, a Cricket Match, and a canal complete with Narrow Boats and a Lock. The main layout is a multi-track OO (4mm to foot) on multiple levels, the layout also features a OO9 narrow gauge scene complete with slate quarry loads and steam locomotives. In addition, a small layout and display of 1930s – 1950s British Hornby O gauge clockwork tinplate stock will be shown.
